Steven A. Russo, CFA was named Chairman of the Board of Plimoth Investment Advisors in 2025. Steve serves as a member of the investment management team at Plimoth and actively manages client portfolios. In his prior role at Plimoth Investment Advisors, Steve served as President and CEO for eight years. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Senior Investment Officer and oversaw the development of Plimoth’s propriety economic and investment analytics programs which serve as the backbone of the investment decision platform. He has made numerous contributions to the various operating divisions in other roles, shaping the direction of the firm for more than two decades.

Steve has over 30 years of experience in managing investment portfolios and has worked at some of the largest investment institutions worldwide including Scudder, Stevens & Clark and State Street Global Advisors, where he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of Science degree in Finance, both from Suffolk University. He is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School and the Wharton Leadership Program. Steve is the recipient of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Steve currently serves as a member of the Finance Committee for the United Way of Fall River.

In his spare time, Steve most enjoys spending time with family and friends. He can also often be found at tennis courts around New England watching his children compete in college tournaments.
