Mark served as a Credit Analyst at BayCoast Bank prior to joining Plimoth Investment Advisors in 2009. He has served in a number of roles at Plimoth within equity research and analysis, trading and portfolio management. Following his promotion to First Vice President, Investment Officer & Director of Research in 2020, Mark directs the group’s investment research activities across asset classes. He works closely with clients in establishing appropriate asset allocation policies and managing portfolios.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He has also received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth. Mark holds the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and is a Level II Chartered Financial Analyst candidate.

Mark is a strong community advocate and was awarded the John F. Brayton Jr. Memorial Community Service Award by the Bristol County Chamber of Commerce in 2016. Mark currently serves as President of the Greater Fall River Community Soup Kitchen, First Vice President of the Fall River Historical Society, a member of the YMCA of Fall River Board of Advisors and was Past President of the Lions Club of Fall River and of the Animal Rescue League of Fall River.

Mark and his wife Crystal, have two daughters and a son who keep them busy. They currently live in Mattapoisett with their rescued Vizsla named Lucy. When Mark has free time, he loves to golf, follow his favorite sports teams, and is an avid movie buff.
